Attention: Access through https://www.swisslex.ch remains open until the end of 2024. In 2025, you can only access through https://lexcampus.swisslex.ch.
Exisiting Swisslex user accounts can be used with LEX campus. A new registration is not necessary.
Members of the University of St. Gallen get access to LEX campus (formerly known as Swisslex), the most comprehensive legal database for Switzerland, providing them with access to around one million full text documents. Among the offerings are:
All documents are available in their full text and are searchable. To assist with your research, the system provides several Tutorials, that can either be viewed as videos or downloaded as PDF documents.
For the time being, new users have to register on the classic Swisslex platform. In December, the new LEX campus registration page will become available. Please ensure you use your correct e-mail address, x.y@student.unisg.ch or x.y@unisg.ch. Registration must be completed at a computer on campus or with activated VPN client, if you are connecting from an external site.
LEX campus can only be used in context of your studies, teaching or research at HSG. Any commercial use is not allowed. Giving your login details or downloaded documents to third parties, is also not covered by our license agreement. We kindly request that you respect these terms!
For students, Swisslex sets a monthly query limit (CHF 2'500, this is roughly the equivalent of 150 to 200 documents in full-text view), which can be checked in your account information ("Kundenprofil") after logging on.
