CDP

(Carbon Disclosure Project)

CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) is a not-for-profit organisation that runs a global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impact. The CDP data count as the gold standard of environmental reporting with the richest and most comprehensive dataset on corporate and city action. We have access to three datasets: Climate Change Data, Water Data and Forest Data. You can sign in using your HSG account. Data on cities, countries and regions are accessible through the Open Data Portal.

Please take note of these important points:

  • Access to CDP data is limited to current members of HSG. If you are no longer enrolled or working here, you need to delete all downloaded data.
  • The data may not be shared with any third parties outside of HSG.
  • Uploading licensed content or data to external platforms, specifically ChatGPT or other AI platforms, where storage and future use are controlled by Third Parties, is strictly prohibited.
  • The data may only be accessed for personal use in context of studying, teaching or research activities at HSG. Any commercial use is prohibited.
  • When using this data in an academic publication or presentation, you will need to cite CDP as source.
  • If your research is published: if possible, please provide CDP with a link to your published academic research: partnershipscdp.net.
