IP-Transfer-Support

The University of St.Gallen supports members of HSG in strategically exploiting research findings, ideas or intellectual property (IP), or in making them available to the public.

IP-Transfer-Support

The University of St.Gallen empowers students, faculty and alumni to turn their ideas and academic findings into entrepreneurial impact. Whether you are just starting out or already have concrete results – we will support you on your ‘Founder’s Journey’. Has intellectual property been created within the context of an employment relationship or as part of academic work (e.g. employee inventions, computer programs, databases) and is this now to be commercialised? We are happy to support and advise you on the most pressing questions:

Alexandria Research Platform

The University of St.Gallen (HSG) strives to make as many of its research results as possible freely accessible to the general public. For this reason, we publish our results as open access publications wherever possible. On Alexandria, our research platform, we make our publications freely accessible wherever possible. The platform is operated by the Office of the Vice-President for Research & Faculty. It has been in existence since 2005 and enables the implementation of the HSG’s Open Access Policy. Alexandria comprises reports, articles, pieces from academic journals and conference proceedings, book chapters, monographs, as well as other academic contributions such as working papers, research reports or media articles.
