Become a user of the HSG Library and benefit from our wide range of services:
Any private person can register for the use of the HSG Library or swisscovery using a SWITCH edu-ID. Start the registration process here.
If you have already registered with another SLSP library, you can use the library right away.
Libraries participating in national or international interlibrary loans, as well as commercial and non-commercial organisations, can create an account here.
For detailed information, refer to SLSP help page.
We are also pleased to assist you as well at the circulation desk, on the phone, by email or in our WhatsApp chat.
You can check your activities in the various SLSP libraries in your swisscovery user account:
You can check and update your personal data as well as change your password directly in your SWITCH edu-ID.
Please note:
HSG students: matriculation number (without dashes)
HSG members: 16-digit card number 629912... (without spaces)
External library users: number of the library card
When you register, SLSP imports your personal data (names, postal and email adresses, phone numbers, date of birth) from your SWICTH edu-ID account into the HSGswisscovery portal.
You can check and update your personal data in your SWITCH edu-ID account at any time. Changes will automatically be transmitted to HSGswisscovery. Library specific data such as loans, orders, and fees are managed directly in the library system.
You can delete your user account at any time, given that there are no more open transactions (loans or fees). All transactional data is regularly anonymised and HSGswisscovery accounts will be deleted after 10 years of inactivity.
More information on data protection can be found on the SLSP website.
