The University of St.Gallen has offered public lectures since its foundation. The Public Lectures offer a wide variety of topics - from "classical" economic topics to art and literature to politics and psychology. The lecture programme changes every six months.

In the winter semester 2003/04, we were the first university in Switzerland to launch the Children's University. With this format, we want to give children an understanding of socially relevant topics in addition to what they learn at school.
