LSEG Datastream / Worldscope

The Datastream data service includes

• Share prices, market capitalisation, dividends etc. for approx. 75,000 equities around the world, including both industrialized countries and emerging markets.
• Over 400,000 international macroeconomic time series with indicators for 215 countries.
• Foreign exchange rates for 45 countries, over 2,000 interest rates.
• Sources include securities exchanges, government institutions (central banks etc.) and international organisations such as the OECD and IMF.
• Included modules: Worldscope; Annuities; Economics; Equities; Futures.

Datastream via WRDS

Datastream and Worldscope are accessible through the Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) platform. Datastream contains the modules Commodities, Equities, Economics and Futures. The subscribed Worldscope modules include Fundamentals Annual, Fundamentals Quarterly, Pension and Postretirement, Segments and Stock Data. WRDS is particularly suitable for collecting large amounts of data. Please read the information on how to use WRDS and how to access it.

Datastream via LSEG Workspace

Datastream is integrated into LSEG Workspace. Workspace is available in a virtualised environment to enable mobile use. However, the Datastream add-on is limited to 10 million data points per month.
