Next year, the Dies academicus will take place on 8 May 2026. You are cordially invited to join us in celebrating our University's traditional day of honour.
The Dies academicus is an academic ceremony which we jointly celebrate with the faculty members, students and the HSG members. On this day, we award honorary doctorates to academics for their services to the disciplines of economic, legal or social sciences. HSG personalities of outstanding merit. Furthermore, we appoint personalities who have performed particular services to the University as honorary senators. At the Dies academicus, prizes are also awarded to outstanding young faculty members.
