Political philosophy is strongly maintained in teaching and research at the universities of St. Gallen and Lucerne in Switzerland. Therefore, a trans-university research colloquium on political philosophy is organised once per semester. It alternately takes place once in St. Gallen and once in Lucerne.
The colloquium offers junior researchers the opportunity to present their projects (Master's or doctoral dissertations or other contributions) as works in progress and to discuss them. The goal is to collectively create a space for constructive and encouraging philosophical exchange, where ideas can be formulated and presented, even if they are not yet ready for publication.
The upcoming colloquium will be held on 17 May 2024, at the University of St. Gallen from 3 to 6 p.m. Interested parties can register by contacting damian.nussbaumer@unisg.ch.
