Thanks to her criminological profile and empirical research skills, Nora Markwalder regularly conducts research at the interface between law, economics, sociology and psychology.
Nora Markwalder's criminological research focuses on homicides and domestic violence, white-collar crime and experimental research in the field of criminal procedural law. She also authors publications in criminal law and criminal procedure law. She is co-author of a textbook in Swiss criminal law and co-editor of the Basler Commentary on Administrative Criminal Law, which was recently published. Her publications are in German, English and French.
