The digital assistant ChatGPT can not only write high-level texts or program code itself, it can also help you train these skills yourself. Advances in artificial intelligence (AI) will make it possible for learners to have low-cost, personalized coaches in the future. On the other hand, the question arises as to which skills people need to acquire at all, since AI itself can take on an ever broader range of tasks. Prof. Dr. Sabine Seufert from the Institute for Educational Management and Technologies at the University of St.Gallen outlines the education system of the future in this interview.
