HSG student Moritz Beyn is part of a start-up that is rethinking skiing. The idea: the e-ski, essentially the equivalent of an e-bike, but designed for use in the snow. The aim is to make ascents on ski tours significantly easier, thereby making the sport accessible to more people.
Moritz himself has a great passion for the mountains and explains in the podcast how this passion gave rise to a tangible product. The focus is on how technology and nature can be combined and what role inclusion can play in the Alpine region.
At the same time, he offers insights into building a start-up in a niche market and speaks openly about what he has learnt along the way.
Alongside entrepreneurship, political engagement is also central to Moritz’s life. He explains why it is important to use one’s own vote and what opportunities the Swiss system offers for doing so.
