Salman "Sal" Khan is the founder and CEO of Khan Academy, a free online non-profit educational platform used by over 155 million scholars worldwide. The mission of Khan Academy is to provide a free, world‑class education for anyone, anywhere. Sal Khan participated in the 52nd St. Gallen Symposium at the University of St.Gallen where he was awarded the first Monika & Wolfgang Schürer Award and presented his vision of a new generational contract. On this occasion, we were able to talk with him about education in general, universities in specific as well as the opportunities of AI-powered tuition.
