Additional Qualifications: CBS and CBJ

Additional Qualification Program
Digital Communication & Journalism

The educational program Digital Communication and Journalism (DCJ) offers an additional qualification at Master level. Within the framework of 18 ECTS, which are fully creditable to the Master's program, students are trained to become digital communication experts.

Through the DCJ, master's students can complement their major studies with a deeper understanding of digital communication strategies and acquire journalistic writing skills. The program introduces students to key topics in journalism, media economics and media law, and provides them with a critical understanding of the impact of digital transformation, with a particular focus on current issues such as social media, data journalism and AI.

Our alumni benefit from multiple entry-level opportunities in communications-, media-, or journalism-related job profiles.
