Pursuant to Art. 35(1)(c) of the University Act of 14 November 2024 [sGS 217.1; UG], the Conciliation Body for Personnel Matters is a judicial body of the University of St.Gallen.
Art. 76 UG in conjunction with Art. 166 of the University Statutes of 30 August 2024 [sGS 217.15; US] shall govern questions of organisation, composition, election and term of office. The University's Board of Governors shall select the members of the Conciliation Body (Art. 20(2)(g)(11) UG).
The tasks of the Conciliation Body for Personnel Matters are defined in Art. 77 UG.
The procedure shall be governed by the personnel regulations of the University and, in addition, by the provisions of the personnel law of the Canton of St.Gallen.
