The Administrative Law Chamber of the Appeal Committee of the University of St.Gallen is the judicial body of the University of St.Gallen in accordance with Art. 35 (1) a of the University Act of November 14, 2024 [sGS 217.1; UG].
Its organization and composition are based on Art. 74(1) and (3) of the UG in conjunction with Art. 155 of the University Statutes of August 30, 2024 [sGS 217.15; US].
Their tasks are defined in Art. 75 UG in conjunction with Art. 151 of the University Statutes of August 30, 2024 [sGS 217.15; US].
The members are selected by the Board of Governors (Art. 20 para. 2 let. g no. 10 UG). The selection and the term of office are based on Art. 152 US. The current members are:

In principle, the administrative procedure and the administration of justice shall be governed by the Act on the Administration of Administrative Justice of May 16, 1965 [sGS 951.1; VRP], unless the University Act provides otherwise. The University's Board of Governors may regulate the procedure of the Appeal Committee in more detail, subject to the provisions of Art. 71 UG.
An appeal against the decision of the Administrative Law Chamber of the Appeal Committee of the University of St.Gallen may be lodged with the (cantonal) administrative court on the basis of Art. 78(1)UG in conjunction with Art. 59bisVRP.
