In 2025, the total energy consumption (heat and electricity) of HSG premises (Rosenberg campus and Executive Campus Holzweid) amounted to around 6'000'000 kWh. The year-on-year increase is the result of technical irregularities, which have already been addressed.
Water consumption at the HSG campus in 2025 amounted to a good 11'000 m3. Consumption remains at a similar level to 2019, even though student numbers have risen by around 12% since then.
HSG's total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions amounted to around 20'000 tCO₂e in 2025. This represents a reduction of around 10% compared to the 2019 baseline. Further information on the calculation methodology and emission sources can be found in HSG's GHG report.
