DDP with Bocconi for HSG Law Programs

The Law School at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) offers Master's law students the opportunity to earn two degrees through a Double Degree Program (DDP) with Bocconi University, starting in Fall 2026.

  Degrees Awarded

• MLaw / MLE / MIL from University of St.Gallen, HSG, Switzerland

• LLM in European Business and Social Law from Bocconi, Italy

• Core courses & electives: 42-45 ECTS
• Contextual studies: 6-9 ECTS
• Master’s thesis: 18 ECTS (credited at Bocconi)

• Fundamental courses & EBSL seminar
• Electives in chosen specialization
• Professional skills Seminars
• 30 credits transferred to HSG Degree

Details:

• 2 compulsory fundamentals courses & 1 compulsory EBSL seminar​
• 3 core electives in Business Law, Digital Law and Public & Social Law​
• Elective courses and professional skills seminars​: LLM in European Business and Social Law - Bocconi University​
• 60 credits are completed at Bocconi – the overall grade average of the courses will be transferred to the HSG degree in independent electives, contextual studies. ​
• Write Master’s Thesis with HSG supervisors and get it credited at Bocconi.

Fees and financial support:

Tuition fees are paid at the HSG during the Bocconi semesters abroad. HSG students are exempt from the basic tuition fees at Bocconi University, but bear all other costs associated with their semester abroad.
