The HSG Social Scholarship is also made possible thanks to donations from the HSG community. "Dedicated to the future of the University of St.Gallen (HSG)" - since 2001, the HSG Foundation has been supporting the development of HSG into Europe's leading business University and beyond. It initiates and coordinates funding activities for sustainable initiatives at the University, for excellence in teaching and research, and lifelong learning.

The purpose of the Monique Dornonville de la Cour - Stiftung is to support and promote activities to alleviate human need in Switzerland and to support talented young people. At the University of St.Gallen, the foundation supports our Swiss students with both need and merit scholarships.
One of the purposes of the Starr International Foundation is to promote education in Switzerland and abroad. At the University of St.Gallen, excellence scholarships from the Starr Foundation are awarded to foreign students.
Our initiative brings together current decision-makers with emerging talents from around the world, to foster leadership with the next generation in mind. In this very spirit, the St. Gallen Symposium partners with the University of St. Gallen, to enable one annual excellence scholarship of one Bachelor student.
Various individuals from the HSG community make direct contributions to the HSG Loan and Scholarship Fund – such as, for example, guest lecturer fees.
