Room abbreviations
The room abbreviations are made up of the location, building number, floor and room number.

Example: Room A 23-201

  1. Location (A = Rosenberg Campus)
  2. Building name (23 = Building 23)
  3. Floor number in the building (200 = 2nd floor); 'U' stands for 'basement'.
  4. Room number on the corresponding floor (001 = Room 01)

What are the most important buildings on the campus?

In our library you will find over 550,000 printed books and periodicals, 175,000 e-books, 800 printed magazines and newspaper subscriptions. You also have access to 70,000 licensed electronic journals. A total of 550 study places are available, as well as various PCs used as research stations and multifunctional devices for printing, copying and scanning.

You will need your HSGcard for printing and copying.

The library staff will be happy to help you with questions about literature and information searches.

SQUARE is the University of St.Gallen's space for experimentation that enables innovative ways of teaching and learning.

Numerous study spaces are available for students throughout the building.

The University of St. Gallen provides students with various devices such as printers, scanners and PCs for use.

There are four computer rooms (01-U102, 01-U103, 01-U179 and 01-U206) in the main building. In addition to standard software, the computers have a comprehensive repertoire of software such as STATA, JMP, Atlas.ti and many more.

Our Sapelli cafeteria offers a wide selection of dishes over lunch, which vary in price. At the cold and warm buffet you can also put together your own individual meal or choose a menu. Starting at CHF 6.20, you can get a warm meal.

In buildings 01 and 09, there are two other catering facilities, Tap and the Förderer-Bar, which offer a range of pastries, cakes, sandwiches and other snacks, as well as a variety of hot and cold drinks throughout the day.

In the SQUARE, Sou's, the Mobile Bar and several FELFEL vending machines are available for small snacks.

The Migros Cooperative is the operator of the cafeterias on campus.

To keep your body and mind in balance, Unisport offers you a wide range of sports at its own and third-party sports facilities.

On our campus, you have access to a sports complex with sports halls, fitness rooms, an artificial grass pitch, a beach volleyball court and other facilities.
