A Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs (BIA) will provide you with numerous opportunities for your education and career.
With your Bachelor's degree in International Affairs you have the possibility of joining the Master’s programmes in International Affairs and Governance (MIA) or International Law (MIL) at the University of St.Gallen.
At the same time, the BIA programme will prepare you for a great number of professional activities in politics, economics and society. In the Major in International Affairs and the subsequent Master’s programme in International Affairs and Governance (MIA), you will acquire the wherewithal for a successful career in the private sector and in public institutions both at a national and an international level.
The application deadline for the MIA is 30 April.
After you have concluded your studies, you will be able to choose from a wide variety of career paths: in multinational corporations, in international organisations, in global economic institutions and development agencies, in the diplomatic service, in consultancy firms, in public administration, in NGOs and non-profit organisations, in political parties and associations as well as at universities, in think tanks and research institutions.
The Bachelor's degree in International Affairs (Major International Affairs) from the HSG is highly regarded and respected. Our graduates work in multinational corporations, in international organisations or in global economic institutions.
