HSG with a new website

Since the beginning of July 2010, the HSG has presented itself in a new attire. Not only was the design of the website optimized, but its user guidance was subjected to a fundamental change.


2 July 2010. Neatly arranged, modern and elegant: this is how the new website of the University of St.Gallen presents itself. Seven years after the last relaunch, all the pages have been radically overhauled and adapted to today’s user criteria. The previous structure according to organizational units has given way to a target-group-oriented approach. Related groups of items have now been represented accordingly, in a user-oriented and media-friendly way.

More than 2400 pages
With the core website, the first area of the HSG has been completely converted to the new structure. The various contributors have generated more than 2400 pages in the last few months. The institute pages and a new intranet for HSG members will follow in the coming months.

HSG Mediacorner
The HSG Mediacorner provides media representatives with an information platform that bundles all the topical communications and media releases of the University of St.Gallen. The Mediacorner also contains publications, which can be retrieved as live papers, the HSGNewsletter, a media ticker and press evaluations.

Journalists can easily find academic contacts through the newly structured Expert Service with inbuilt search function. Expert files on topical issues such as the economic and financial crisis, energy, and sustainability, round off the Mediacorner.
