Mai-Thu Perret on her work "Through the forest of thorns, a single path"
The Swiss artist Mai-Thu Perret has created a 60-metre-long gold-coloured brass chain that meanders fluidly through the geometrically clear building of SQUARE.
Title: "Through the forest of thorns, a single path." For the students, perhaps something like a lucky charm on the path to understanding. The chain was made with great care from hammered or cast sheet brass at the Kunstgiesserei Sitterwerk in St.Gallen. The artwork was officially inaugurated on 28 June 2023.
