Welcome to the information and registration page for the Mathematics Pre-courses at the University of St. Gallen.
To support your transition into university studies, the Chair of Mathematics offers two complementary preparatory options:
Both offers are designed to help you refresh the mathematical foundations required in the Assessment Year of the Bachelor programs in Economics, International Affairs, Management, and Computer Science.
The online onboarding course is designed to help you identify and close potential knowledge gaps before the semester begins.
The course covers the mathematical foundations of the first year curriculum and builds on the knowledge acquired during high school. In addition, you will receive access to a PDF booklet summarizing the topics covered in the course. We strongly recommend completing the online onboarding course before attending the in-person pre-course.
Access to the Online Course
The course is available at: e-maths.ch
Information regarding free access to the course, including the activation code, has been communicated to you separately by email or letter.
In addition to the online onboarding course, the Chair of Mathematics offers a free in-person Mathematics pre-course at the University of St. Gallen. The pre-course is offered both in English and in German.
