Network Access Network access is the key to digitalized knowledge. This service is operated by the HSG IT. Visitors Visitors can connect to the WLan network "Public" or "EduRoam" - both operated by HSG IT - as well as to several other hotspots operated by commercial providers. The WLan network "Public" allows free connection to the HSG internal websites as StudyNet, Webmail or the universities internet site. For a connection to other sites a university login is needed. The University of St.Gallen is member of the "EduRoam" network of higher education. The EduRoam network is open for all visitors having a login provided by their home institution. By using the universities WLan networks, you agree to observe the current HSGnet User Regulations. HSG Members HSG members can use the same networks mentioned above; we recommend using the WLan "EduRoam" for fast and reliable internet access. Further information on network access can be found on the IT service catalog on the intranet (login required). Abroad HSG members can also use "EduRoam" access if provided, or otherwise use a VPN connection if only public WLan networks are available.
