The NextGen Impact Forum is a student-driven initiative within the SuM-HSG ecosystem that brings together students, organizations, start-ups, practitioners, and sustainability-minded individuals to collaboratively explore positive transformation and sustainable future solutions.
Organized by students and alumni of the SuM-HSG programme, the forum creates a space for exchange, innovation, and collaboration around sustainability, impact, and future-oriented careers. Through workshops, pitching competitions, panel discussions, networking formats, and interactive sessions, participants gain practical insights and work together on real-world challenges.
A central element of the forum is the SHSG NextGen Impact Innovation Award, where student initiatives present their projects to a jury of sustainability experts and practitioners.
The award supports innovative ideas with social and environmental impact. Previous projects have focused on topics such as educational equity, sustainable campus transformation, mentoring programmes, and community-oriented solutions.
