Study Life Atelier

Design your studies. Shape your life. A shared learning journey through the Assessment Year.

Your Assessment Year is full of challenges. Let's take them on – together.

In the Study Life Atelier, you build essential skills: managing your time, learning effectively, staying balanced under pressure, knowing your strengths, and giving your studies a clear direction. These skills are not just indispensable at uni; they will also form a solid foundation for your work life. What is more, you become part of a community that supports you throughout the Assessment Year. Together, you will be testing things out, sharing insights, and turning these insights into your individual practice.

Limited places – first come, first served. Registration closes on 30 September 2026.

How it works

Across six themed sessions spanning two semesters, we explore the core ideas together and put them into practice. Sessions are held Monday mornings, 10:15–12:00, at SQUARE. In between, you continue the work within your crew, using a digital reflection journal to experiment with your own routine, track your progress, learn from one another, and refine each practice until it truly fits your style.

Your Crew

Your crew is more than a study group; it is a peer support system that motivates you and helps you move from insight to action. You meet independently between sessions, reflect on your experiences together, and work out what to try next. The crew turns the Atelier into a learning community – a space to think out loud, share, and find out what actually works in day-to-day student life.

Digital Reflection Journal

Between sessions, a digital reflection journal guides you with short tasks. It helps you record what you try and what you take from it, connects the sessions, and shows how your practice develops over the year.

Your Course Facilitators

The Study Life Atelier is led by two psychologists with expertise in self-organisation and sustainable performance. They bring evidence-based practices to the sessions and help you put them to work in your studies.
