Supply Chain Competence Center

1 October 2009. LOG-HSG and the Kerkhoff Competence Center (KCC) will do research on trends and change processes in procurement, purchasing and supply chain management (SCM).

The KCC rests on three pillars: in the first pillar, the KCC will immediately conduct an annual international study to explore megatrends in SCM, purchasing and procurement.

In the second pillar, relevant academic publications at the interface of purchasing/procurement and SCM will be reviewed regularly in the context of a think tank.

The third focal point is cooperation between academics, consultants and practitioners with the development of new management methods for purchasing, procurement and SCM.
