8 April 2010. In the current academic year, the Haniel Seminars of the University of St.Gallen (HSG) are dealing with “New Movements of Entrepreneurship”. Particularly in times of crisis, new ways towards sustainable entrepreneurship must be found.

Discussion in English
The second public panel discussion within the framework of the 2009/10 Haniel Seminars will take place on Wednesday, 14 April 2010, at 6.15 p.m. in Room 09-012 of the HSG Library Building. It will be conducted in English.

Prominent guests
Under the chairmanship of this year’s Haniel Fellow, Chris Land (Essex, UK), three prominent guests will discuss the issue of “Re-imagining entrepreneurship: value, destruction and re-creation after the crisis?” Ellen O'Connor (Chicago) is regarded as the leading researcher in the field of “Narrating Entrepreneurship”, i.e. the question as to the narratives we tell each other about entrepreneurs and their roles.

André Spicer (Warwick, UK) scrutinizes the figure of the entrepreneur critically and makes an attempt at “Unmasking the Entrepreneur”: if we are not careful, “entrepreneur” may become an empty word. Finally, Pierre Guillet de Monthoux (Stockholm) devotes his research to the relationship between art and management, and creativity and entrepreneurship.
