30 June 2010. Subsequent to the appointment by the Senate and the University’s Board of Governors, the Government of the Canton of St.Gallen has approved the future Directors of the Institute for Business Ethics (IWE-HSG). As from 1 February 2011, the Institute will now be headed by two Directors, namely Prof. Dr. Thomas Beschorner and Prof. Dr. Florian Wettstein.
International invitation to apply
After an international invitation to apply and the examination of numerous applicants by the Appointment Committee, the Government of the Canton of St.Gallen has confirmed the appointment of Professors Thomas Beschorner and Florian Wettstein, who were chosen by the Senate and the University’s Board of Governors.
Professor and tenure-track
Prof. Dr. Thomas Beschorner (University of Montreal/Canada) was appointed Professor as from 1 February 2011, while Prof. Dr. Florian Wettstein (University of St. Thomas/USA) was appointed Tenure-Track Associate Professor of Business Ethics.
