HSG wins the Human Award

7 November 2008. On the occasion of this year’s Swiss Leadership Forum, the Human Award for the best leadership project in the German-speaking area was bestowed for the fourth time. The first prize was won by the joint project conducted by the Helsana health insurance company and the University of St.Gallen.

Dr. Markus Müllner, Michael Weibel and Prof. Dr. Dirk Zupancic from the Institute for Marketing and Retailing transposed the St.Gallen KAM Concept onto the Swiss health sector and supported Helsana with the implementation of the Key Clinic Management.

With the Key Clinic Management, Helsana has put a new accent on the health sector by motivating participants in the health market to make use of interdisciplinary processes, products and standards despite regulatory obstacles, with the focus on benefits and quality for the well-being of policy holders.

Also, the clinics and service providers involved profit from quantity effects, plannability, more efficient and interdisciplinary processes, and mutual innovation stimuli. 40 clinics are already cooperating with Helsana in this form of partnership.
