Discovering potentials

The HSG will be presenting its executive education courses, degree courses and opportunities for traineeships at Eastern Switzerland’s biggest vocational and education fair, the OBA, from 28-30 August 2015. The fair is run under the motto of “Discover your potential”.

26 August 2015. The University of St.Gallen (HSG) will again be present at this year’s "Ostschweizer Bildungsausstellung". Prospective trainees and students will be able to obtain information about the University and its degree and executive education courses at stand 3.1.11 in the St.Gallen Olma Halls. On Friday, 28 August 2015, the HSG will additionally present its traineeship opportunities.

Impulses for career choices

The topic for this year’s education fair is "Discover your potential". The OBA provides young people with impulses for their career choices. They will be able to try out a wide variety of trades and further education opportunities interactively. A varied supporting programme will provide tips for applications and different career paths. A decision in favour of further education remains an exciting experience even in adulthood. The OBA supplies information about education and career opportunities and motivates visitors to tackle something new.

Network for education in the region

The OBA provides an expert environment for personal encounters between national and regional professional associations, educational institutions, as well as for companies that offer traineeships and for adults who are interested in education, career services and HR managers. Admission is free of charge. With 21,000 visitors, 1,200 courses on offer and 150 participants, the OBA is Eastern Switzerland’s biggest vocational and education fair.
