A wealth of knowledge for the region

At the beginning of the 2009 Spring Semester on 16 February 2009, the University of St.Gallen (HSG) invites the general public to its Public Lecture Program.

9 February 2009. The semester admission ticket for the Public Lecture Program costs CHF 20.00 and entitles holders to attend all the lectures in the wide-ranging program, which covers topics from business ethics, agricultural policies and public health to history, sociology, literature, music, art history, the cinema, psychology, philosophy and theology.

Once again, the HSG pays a visit to the region: in Wattwil, it provides insights into the field of “Energy and the Economy”.

Do children have rights?
The question “Do children have rights?” is the topic dealt with by the Children’s University on 27 May and 3 and 10 June 2009. A Federal Judge will be present and will answer young people’s questions. Issues covered by the lectures will explain what rights children have, how they can exercise them, and to what extent they may participate in decision-making processes.
