Public or Private Value

The significance of public value is on the increase
"Previously, the private and public sectors were clearly detached from each other," said Bieger. Today, this borderline was becoming blurred. The importance of public value was increasing particularly in the case of enterprises which are subject to government regulations. In a time of compulsory transparency, enterprises must additionally pay more attention to the general public rather than to their stakeholders alone.

Varied programme
Dr. Urs Landolf, President of HSG Alumni, gave the welcoming address to graduates and guests. The musical background to the ceremony was provided by the Elias Bernet Trio. The guests were able to go on a guided tour of the HSG’s art works before or after the official ceremony or have their photographs taken – with or without gown – by photographer Hannes Thalmann.
