Join us for the kick-off meeting of the PhD Writing Group. Whether you are just drafting your research proposal, stuck in the middle of a chapter, or putting the final touches on a paper, this group is designed to help you get words on the page in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
What to Expect
- Meet the Writing Lab and the Academic Career Development staff: Get to know our team, learn about available resources, and ask questions about support opportunities.
- Find Your Community: Connect with fellow PhD students who share the same struggles, exchange experiences, and build a peer accountability network.
- Get More Writing Done: Learn how our upcoming regular online writing sessions (Fridays, 9:00-12:30) are structured (e.g., quiet co-writing blocks, goal-setting, and short breaks).
