HSG Awards Excellence Scholarships to Two Computer Science Students

The University of St.Gallen (HSG) offers various scholarships to support high-achieving students. These scholarships enable the HSG to support particularly talented and committed students during their studies. The scholarships were ceremoniously awarded on 27 May 2024 during a meeting of the HSG Senate.

The HSG offers four different funding programmes under the title "Excellence Scholarships." Three of these programmes are funded by foundations: the St.Gallen Foundation for International Studies, the Monique Dornonville de la Cour Foundation, and the Starr International Foundation. These foundations support education, international exchange, and young talent in accordance with their objectives. The scholarships awarded at the HSG cover the tuition fees for the regular study period of the award winners.

Master’s student Borna Massari (pictured) from Croatia secured the HSG Starr International Foundation Excellence Scholarship, which supports particularly talented foreign students.

The 22-year-old Bachelor's student Flurin Selm from St.Gallen received the Monique Dornonville de la Cour Foundation Excellence Scholarship, which supports high-achieving Swiss students.

These coveted scholarships are more than just financial support—they are a clear sign of recognition and appreciation for exceptional academic performance and commitment. The School of Computer Science is proud to count such highly talented students among its members and congratulates them both on this special achievement.
