Workshop based on discovered challenges and good practices at HSG, stemming from the research project "Academic Leadership at HSG", including own developed tool. Optional one-year peer-coaching-accompaniment of own leadership

To ensure the peer-group-character of the workshop, this specific appointment is open to Associate and Full Professors.

Monday, 31.08.2026, 15:00-17:30

Leadership has become an important success factor in science. Scientists are never only excellent researchers and teachers, but also always leaders. How leadership can succeed within the complex environment of universities is still not addressed enough, though. How can we both support and encourage our employees? How do we deal with crises and conflicts? How do we build trust and stay performant?

The workshop conveys challenges and good practices at HSG, discovered within the research project "Academic Leadership at HSG". The "Academic Leadership Game", developed by us, contributes new drive to insights. We look forward to everyone who will join the game!

The workshop is also the starting point of a year-long peer-coaching-accompaniment of one's own leadership, led by Prof. Dr. Julia Nentwich. It is of course also possible to solely visit the workshop.
