You can use our public workstations or your own Laptop, tablet or smartphone to access the internet / wifi in the library. From home, you need a VPN connection.
In the library you can find public work stations to go online. No login procedure is required. With your own device, you can access the internet by different means:
The Eduroam network is available on the entire HSG Campus. Eduroam allows HSG students / staff as well as members of participating universities to access the local network to get online.

This technology allows members of the University to access the university network and electronic library resources (databases, e-books...) through a secure connection from outside of the campus area (e.g. your home, public wifi). Member of other Swiss universities can also login into their university networks through VPN. We recommend you use Cisco Secure Client for your VPN connection.

If you are not a student, a member of our staff or faculty, please register your cell phone number free of charge. You will receive a free text message with your password. Your access will consist of your cell phone number and password and is valid for 6 months.
SWITCH edu-ID is required to access the Ebook Central platform, the Expertensuche Swiss Federal Supreme Court Rulings and for using the library. Each user has to personally create their edu-ID and link it with their HSG account.
