Mandatory member of the rectorate and the extended rectorate. Member of the Senate committee in an advisory role by virtue of the University Statute.
Responsible for the operational management of the Vice President's Board of Studies & Academic Affairs, for the organization of studies, teaching and examinations and for the preparation, further development, implementation and enforcement of decrees under study law.
Has decision-making authority in matters of study and examination administration, can commission quality assurance measures in connection with teaching and examinations, and has authority to issue directives within the framework of university regulations.
Takes disciplinary measures or requests the opening of disciplinary proceedings against matriculated students and doctoral students, other course participants, and applicants for admission to the university or a university degree.
