Carl obtained his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics at Dresden University of Technology in Germany, with an exchange at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, Norway. He also graduated with a double master's degree in Business Management and Innovation Management from Reykjavík University in Iceland. He is currently a PhD student in the Management programme at the University of St.Gallen.
Carl has a background in finance and runs his own family business, which focuses on executive coaching. He is a doctoral candidate at the Competence Centre for Top Teams (CCTT) at the Institute for International Management at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where his research focuses on top management teams and their influence on internationalization and de-internationalization.
