What Reforms do the UN Peacekeeping Missions need?
UN peacekeeping missions are repeatedly criticised in the media. Prof. PhD. Hannah Smidt from the Institute of Political Science at the University of St.Gallen researches the factors that lead to the failure of these missions and reveals in the video which reforms she considers necessary.

The UN's peace missions are also the subject of a public exhibition at SQUARE, which will be open from September 30 to October 13, 2024. On September 30, a public discussion by various experts on the topic will also take place at SQUARE. The deputy head of the UN mission in Mali, Dr. Daniela Kroslak, will also be taking part.
