Development and implementation of a new connection to join a suitcase polymer-shell with a textile zipper

The goal is to develop a suitable joining process to join the polymer-shell of a suitcase with the textile zipper used to open the suitcase. The new connection must be lighter, cheaper, must have better mechanical properties than the present system and its production must be automatizable.
