St.Gallen Board Conference 2023

Serving as a board member in today’s world is more challenging than ever before. Generative AI, geopolitical tensions, ESG – the scope of topics that boards need to address has rapidly evolved over the past years. With the annual St.Gallen Board Conference, the University of St.Gallen is seeking to make a contribution to the continuous professionalisation of corporate governance in organisations and to create a positive impact on boardroom practices. 

The St.Gallen Board Conference is a forum where senior chairpersons and board members from all over Switzerland, HSG’s academic faculty as well as prominent boardroom advisors will share their insights and experiences. After an opening address by the President of University of St.Gallen, a mix of plenary and break-out sessions will cover both evidence-based as well as experiential inputs. By connecting academic and practical perspectives, the conference will foster a dialogue around new directions for responsible, innovative and effective corporate governance.
