HSG awards a spin-off label to selected companies founded by HSG members. Today, 145 companies bear the label - from the Swiss FoodTech pioneer Planted to the data protection provider Decentriq and the innovative FinTech Kaspar&.

Support for start-ups
In the Entrepreneurial Talents Programme (ETP), HSG supports ten young companies founded by HSG members every semester. HSG experts coach the young entrepreneurs intensively and network them with successful founders, investors and mentors.

START Summit
Every year, thousands of young entrepreneurs and investors meet for two days in St.Gallen at START Summit. In 2024, 800 start-ups, 900 investors and 2,500 young talents and students from various universities were among the 7,000 participants. The startup conference is organised entirely by HSG students and is Europe's largest startup gathering.

HSG START Accelerator
Together with the Canton of St.Gallen and the student organisation START Global, HSG has established the HSG START Accelerator Foundation. Its aim is to help national and international start-ups to professionalise and grow. In addition to expert knowledge and a dense network, funding totalling CHF 10 million is available for this purpose.
