The University of St. Gallen (HSG) has created an Open Science Office (OSO) in the Vice-President’s Board Research & Faculty. The OSO is the first point of contact for re-searchers regarding all questions related to open science (including but not limited to metadata, preregistration, citizen science). They plan to extend the offered services at the OSO in two specific ways. First, they will pilot a competitive Open Science micro-grants scheme to help researchers adopt new practices (e.g., reproducibility workflows). Second, they will establish external networking (e.g., participation in national/international Open Science communities and conferences), positioning HSG as a visible contributor to Switzerland’s Open Science landscape.
