Education Günter Müller-Stewens is professor at the University of St. Gallen since 1991 and served as director of the Institute of Management. He studied management at the University of Regensburg (1977, Dipl.-Kfm.), pursued his doctoral degree at the University of München (1981, Dr. rer. pol.), and habilitated at the University of Stuttgart (1987, Dr. rer. pol. habil). From 1987 to 1991 he held a professorship at the University of Duisburg.
Professional Career Müller Stewens‘ focus area of research is strategic management, a domain where he has published numerous books and articles. In addition to research, he participates in many working groups, associations, and juries, while also working as a board member, coach and consultant for multinational companies.
