Update on Refintiv Data Availability at HSG
After the purchase of Refinitiv by LSEG, LSEG has started a consistent re-branding of the previous Refinitiv products. We are in the process of implementing these changes on our library pages. Refinitiv products will now be listed under LSEG.
In October 2023, the library was informed at very short notice that severe download restrictions would be implemented for various datasets that are available with Eikon from November 2023. As these download restrictions make scientific work more difficult or impossible, especially with large amounts of data, we have been looking for alternatives for providing access to these datasets.
The following LSEG datasets can now be accessed on the Wharton Research Data Services platform:
We are planning to provide access also to LSEG SDC data on WRDS by the end of Q1 2024. Outlook: for the end of 2024, we are planning to migrate from Eikon to Workspace, as Eikon will be retired in early 2025. We will inform you about this migration in Q4 2024.
