What impact does the ECHR-Ruling concerning the climate seniors have?

Yesterday, the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruled in favour of the climate seniors' application against Switzerland. According to the ECHR, Switzerland is not doing enough to combat climate change and is therefore violating the right to respect for private and family life enshrined in Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. In this interview, Prof Dr Peter Hettich and Prof Dr Vito Roberto from the HSG Law School assess the implications of this ruling.
