In 2024, 35% of all students at the HSG were female. This proportion remained constant compared to the last report in 2021.

The proportion of female faculty members has increased from 24% to 33% since 2021 (full professorships, associate professorships, assistant professorships, and permanent lectureships). In 2023/2024, two-thirds of newly appointed full professors and the newly appointed associate professor were female.

The Senate is the highest academic body of the University of St.Gallen. The proportion of women among voting members has increased from 24% in the 2020/21 academic year to 27% in the 2024/25 academic year.

At the end of 2024, women accounted for approximately 51% of the workforce in HSG Services. This calculation is based on full-time equivalents and includes employees on monthly and hourly salaries as well as external consultants. The gender distribution in the individual organisational units is shown in the graph below.
