The international business newspaper Financial Times (FT) published its annual ranking of global Executive MBA programmes (EMBA). The University of St.Gallen (HSG) was ranked 25th in the international ranking.

This improvement of 7 ranks after an already remarkable result in 2022, means the programme has achieved its highest historic ranking for the second consecutive year. These results underline once again the successful strategic measures to continuously optimize the EMBA and consolidate it as one of the most relevant executive education experiences worldwide.

First place in the category "Career Progression"

The ranking combines various assessment categories. In this year’s ranking, the HSG defended its global first place in the category "career progress", demonstrating its long-lasting impact on participants. HSG has once again excelled in categories such as "aims achieved" and "environmental, social and governance". Other assessment criteria include "salary today", "international students" and "research rank".

The annual analyses of universities by the Financial Times continue to be a benchmark for academic and professional excellence worldwide. Programmes as well as universities are evaluated.  For the HSG, rankings reflect the external perception of the university and help to review and develop the quality of its offerings continuously.

Global quality and relevance

"Our efforts to tailor our EMBA experience to become one of the most sought-after programmes in Europe have remained consistent and relentless for the past years. Witnessing our programmes take significant steps in the right direction in these global rankings, and understanding there are still realistic areas for improvement, we are now more motivated than ever to aim for even higher heights. We fully believe in the global quality and relevance of HSG’s offering", says Prof. Dr. Karolin Frankenberger, the Academic Director of the Executive MBA HSG.
