New St.Gallen Health Forum – Lectures, discussions and networking for anyone interested and for experts

In the autumn semester, the "SanktGaller Gesundheitsforum" – the St.Gallen Health Forum – will take place for the first time. The series of lecture and discussion evenings will provide an exchange platform for health-related issues, challenges and areas of tension. Initiated by the School of Medicine (Med-HSG) of the University of St.Gallen, the forum is intended to establish itself as a meeting point for any interested parties and experts in the health sector. Speakers from academia, healthcare, business and politics will provide insights into their expert knowledge.

14. September 2021. Health is one of the most important sectors of the Swiss national economy – 12 per cent of the GDP is spent on healthcare with its more than 300,000 employees. The anticipation of technological, institutional and processual changes, as well as the exploitation of new opportunities, are therefore of social relevance. The SanktGaller Gesundheitsforum accompanies this change with evening programmes about selected topics. The forum, which will take place for the first time in Autumn Semester 2021, was produced in cooperation with the City of St.Gallen and the St.Gallen Health Network. Participation will be free of charge and registration is not necessary. In connection with Covid-19, the 3G certificate obligation applies and the room load is two-thirds.
